Sunday 8th October 2023 Pimlico Puffins Invitation Gala

Ruislip Turtles won the Pimlico Puffins Gala with a fantastic individual and team performance. Every team member won a medal and the team finished with 44 points out of a maximum of 55 points. William, Ian Andrew, Jeannette and Josh won gold medals and even Dave and Peter competed in the ‘instructors’ event and were repositioned into 3rd place. This was our first ever visit to Pimlico Puffins, and they made us all very welcome and put on a superb gala. Well done to all involved!

Saturday 23rd September 2023 Ruislip Turtles Invitation Gala

Hatfield Platypus won our Ruislip Invitation Gala Shield yet again, meaning that they have won the shield six times out of the last eight visits. The victory was by the narrowest of margins, finishing just two points ahead of the Ruislip Turtles B team. We entered two teams (A & B) and our combined 16 swimmers amassed 16 medals (8 gold, 2 silver and 6 bronze). Star turn was Shaida who won 2 gold and 1 silver medal. Congratulations to Jack Quilter, Ernest Demonj and Uttam Dhanjal who all made their gala team debuts. Congratulations to all our swimmers and thank you to all the visiting clubs, and the volunteers who made it possible.
