Why should you join Ruislip Turtles Swimming Club?
As a group of volunteers all our instructors have first hand experience as parents, siblings or carers of people with disabilities so appreciate the importance of exercise and the independence swimming give. We have invested heavily in equipment and training to make sure we can tailor our assistance to meet your needs.
We are a long established club
Turtles Swimming Club was formed in 1964 and is a registered charity
More than 150 members
We welcome anyone with a disability, immediate family members or carers are also welcome. We cater for swimmers of all ages and abilities
Experienced Qualified Teachers
Qualified swimming teachers and helpers who volunteer to support our members with their swimming in a safe environment
Wide range of swimming aids available
We regularly update our equipment to ensure we are able to offer modern, up to date resources to help our swimmers
